COMPANY PROFILE

About Us

PT Sumber Segara Primadaya (PT S2P) was established to meet the electricity needs of the Java-Bali region and aspires to become the best independent power producer in Indonesia. The company was founded in May 2003 by PT Sumberenergi Sakti Prima together with PT Geo Dipa Energi, which later transferred its share ownership to PT Pembangkitan Jawa Bali.

The Cilacap Steam Power Plant (PLTU Cilacap) is the first power plant in the southern part of Java, located in Karangkandri Village, Kesugihan District, approximately 20 km from Cilacap City. With a total capacity of 2,260 MW, the presence of PLTU Cilacap ensures transmission stability along the southern coastal transmission line of Java and prevents overloading on the previously concentrated transmission lines in the northern part of Java Island. This significantly contributes to the electricity supply in the southern region of Central Java, supporting regional economic growth.

In its operations, PT S2P consistently strives to apply the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), ensure compliance with regulations in Indonesia, and adhere to internationally recognized standards. Additionally, PT S2P engages with the surrounding communities through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects to support social and economic activities in the area.
