PT S2P for a Sustainable Environment
PT Sumber Segara Primadaya (S2P) is strongly committed to maintaining and improving environmental sustainability in Cilacap Regency. In the first semester of 2024, various tree planting activities have been carried out, both in the Cilacap PLTU area and its surroundings.
In January 2024, as many as 1,000 sea fir trees were planted on Menganti Village Beach with the community and students of SDN Menganti 04. In addition, 2,550 fruit tree seedlings consisting of durian, avocado, longan, and mango trees, were also distributed to the community around the coal-fired power plant. In addition to preserving the environment, this activity is expected to improve the community's economy through fruit harvests in the future.
Within the Cilacap PLTU area, mangrove tree planting is also carried out in coastal areas as a form of corporate social responsibility in maintaining the sustainability of coastal ecosystems and preventing abrasion.
